This time of year carries strong symbolism. In many parts of the world, millions of trees are cut down for holiday celebrations—for decorations, firewood, and temporary use. Most are discarded within weeks.

While celebrating life and renewal, we unintentionally accelerate the loss of what sustains it. What if, instead, we chose to do the opposite?

Madagascar: A Fragile Treasure

Madagascar is one of the most biodiverse regions on Earth. Yet over 40% of its forests have already been lost. When these forests disappear, the loss is permanent—not only for the country, but for the planet.

Our project focuses on planting and protecting trees across 19,500 hectares in the Bekofafa region, giving them long-term value through stewardship and supporting local communities with sustainable alternatives.
